Where are the Instructions?

It happens regularly…you get something to put together and you think you can do it just with the pieces in front of you. You realized you missed a step.

I went 400 miles away from home to pick up a car. I got into the car to drive home. I noticed the side mirror was not right. I tried to find the control.  I pulled over to the side of the road. I looked again. I don’t see it!

Instru:BkI looked in the glove compartment and found the manual. It is two inches thick, and I need to get on the road. I rolled down the window and pressured the mirror with my hand. That works fine. I hope I did not mess something up.

When I got 30 miles from home, I stopped at a daughter’s house. She came out to look at the car, and I mentioned about the window. She reaches over behind the steering column and points to a spot by the door. “That’s your mirror control!”   I better get reading.

I have a Bible (one inch) on top of the car manual. Obviously, the print in the car manual is done with pictures…but you get the idea. All the manuals and instructions, have a great impact and save time.

The Bible—Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth – unknown

We all can use guidance to navigate life’s situations.

“Your Word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path.”  Psalm 119:105  There are instructions as to how to live and be guided by principles that we may consider to be better than “trial-and-error!” More error than trial…for me! “Let me try that again!”

The Bible gives instructions: it corrects us when we are wrong, or we are not sure. It teaches us how to live in a correct or “right way.”  It equips us for life. II Timothy 3:16-17

If I could give advise you: The Bible gives free advice! Let the Bible be your guide!
